Meredith is 3!!

Meredith Lee is THREE!!  

She has grown up so much this year.  I remember at the end of summer last year, wondering what it would be like having just her home while Whitney was at school..... we had our moments but she truly began to shine.  She never got that one on one attention like Whitney did when she was younger but this fall she started talking about really learning so much.  She just really blossomed into her own person this year.  She is stubborn and honestly knows exactly what she wants.  She can throw fits with the best of them and over silly things like turning the lights on when she wasn't ready or for turning the oven on before she thinks its dinner time -- Im sure she will outgrow these as they are getting less frequent even now but someday we will look back and laugh at these times :)

She is funny and loves to laugh.  Her vocabulary is out of this world and she is very smart!! She pays attention to everything and often quotes shows and movies to perfection, which makes all of us laugh so hard.  One night at dinner, out of the blue and having never heard any of us say it, raises her glass and says, "TO THE BFG!"  This has become one of her favorite movies, even though it can be quite scary!  Ever since California and having movies on her ipad, she is a movie girl.  She loves watching trolls, secret life of pets, the BFG and Moana over and over again.  

Meredith also loves to pretend.  As long as someone is in the room with her she will play alone for quite some time.  She loves her Peppa guys/house as well as barbies.  We had quite a few tea parties and picnics this year too!  

She still has her "cat like" tendencies and will often ignore you when she is not in the mood.  We are getting much better at this but it still happens.  She does like talking to strangers now sometimes.  She will say to me, "mom can I tell her something?"  One time a nurse checking out Whitney's ears and she wanted to tell her about her birthday coming up, has to be on her terms though!

Meredith is a little dare devil!  She is not afraid to try new slides at parks, water slides at KI or even roller coasters there too!  Probably because she sees Whitney do it first.....  I just love how she is her own person though too.  She LOVES playing with trains and for her birthday we got her a train table.  She could play with it forever.  Whitney gave her a barbie camper van which she has become quite obsessed with; we cannot go anywhere without her searching the roads for camper vans!

At her three year old check up she was 35 lbs and 38.5 inches long. (75-90%) We cant wait to see what the next year holds for our spunky Merebear.  She is off to preschool in the fall and wants to play soccer!!  Below are the survey questions we ask every year...she actually answered each one this time!
