Teddy Bear Picnic
Our nick name or Meredith is Mere-bear so we decided to have a teddy bear picnic for her birthday. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with us and was supposed to upwards of 100 degrees before noon that day so we moved the party inside to my parents church, Crossroads. It was a very large spacious room that the kids could run around in and not have to worry about being way too hot. It was funny because I was so worried about the kids not having anything to do but wouldn't you know they started a game of pretend baseball in the corner, hitting and actually running the bases :)
Mere was her usual serious face self but deep down she loved it...haha!! We laughed when we looked back at the pictures because she was so serious alllllll day, not one smile from her in any picture!!! She didnt mind people signing to her (perhaps it was because we were in such a large area) and actually liked her cupcake. When the crowds moved away from her she actually stole her sisters cupcake (which she told me later had fallen on the ground and that is why she didnt eat it.... HA!!) and smashed it all over!!
It was a wonderful day with family and close friends that we will remember forever. Couldn't imagine life without my two little girs!!
