Remodeling

We took our time deciding what we wanted to do with our kitchen and living area.  Its a big decision that will last a long time so we needed to make sure we would love it.  We started with hanging curtains throughout and with our nine foot ceilings, it really changed the look of our house!!  Then the salvage sisters came in and worked their magic!  We met with them way back in the fall and we were a little bummed to have to wait so long before they could start but it was worth the wait!!!  Having white shiplap really made the room seem brighter and again going up to the nine foot ceiling made it seem so much bigger than before.  

Something small on some people's radar would be the tv placement but we were ecstatic to have the tv hanging on the wall!!  In our previous houses we had it hung over the fire place so when we moved here and had it down low, we quickly realized it wasn't for us!!

It is a lot of fun and very rewarding to make a house your home.  We love it and are so glad we waited to make sure we knew exactly what we wanted!!!
