Whitney's first day of school!

Since last year was a breeze, I knew this year was going to be even better.  She got new teachers (Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Debbie) and was actually excited even though she was hoping to be placed her last year teacher's classroom.  So far her teachers have said that she is very quiet and they comment everyday on the beautiful dresses she chooses to wear to school.  (most of which are made by none of then Gammy!!)
Whit is very proud of herself because every sight word her teacher has introduced to the class she already knows and can tell the teacher what it is!!!

Shes made a great friend already named Julia and seems to love going everyday!  Three days a week is a bit of an adjustment and I have to say Meredith is dealing with it pretty well.  I hope this will help her get used to getting in and out of the car and learning to be patient..hahaha!  Everytime we walk into the classroom to drop Whitney off, Meredith fights to get down so she can scramble into the room and look around.  So far she hasn't really touched anything or interacted with anyone but its still early in the year Im sure we will get there!
