Merry Christmas!!!

We had three full days of celebrating Christmas with our families.

First I had a Drs appt in the morning where I heard the heartbeat of our little one...which of course started things off the right way:)

Then we went to church with the Skeldons and then back to their house for dinner and gifts.  We were going to wait to open gifts until after dinner but the kids were so excited that it ended up happening first!
I was going into it thinking Whitney would open all of her gifts, throw each one aside and grab for a new one but she was unlike any of us thought.  She opened her first gift and literally didnt open another gift for about 30 minutes.  Buzz Lightyear was a hit I tell you.  The only way we got her to open more gifts was to have Daddy hold Buzz so he could watch her open something else.  haha!!

The next morning we stayed home and had a nice quiet morning.  Whit woke up and said right away, "Did Santa come?"  She ran into the hallway and looked down to see the Doc Clinic she wanted so badly sitting under the tree with just a bow on it.  Whit ran into wake up daddy and was so very excited!!!

It was priceless though, she gasped and was surprised about every gift, which made it a lot of fun!  She did better with opening on Christmas Day but still had to play with each toy a little before opening another:)  We had a relaxing day at home and then had a dinner with my parents and Kelley that evening.  We waited until the following morning to have Christmas with my family so that Caleb and Meg could be involved:)

Christmas with my family was awesome too.  So much love and so many gifts...the theme of all of the Christmas celebrations really:)  It is always great to have everyone together and also being able see others reactions to Whitney and how excited she gets when she opens gifts!!

It was a wonderful Christmas, a full week of celebrations, with lots of memories made!
