Happy Halloween

This year we had a few fun activities for the Halloween season.  Whitney had a Daisy Halloween Hike in the woods that was such an adventure!  The girls wore their costumes and went into the woods during the evening -- along the pumpkin lit path the girls met different characters explaining about seasons, hibernation and animals.

This was the first year our church did trunk or treat.  It was a cold night but they had a great turn out and the kids had a blast looking at all the decorated cars in the parking lot!

Halloween is such a fun time for kids and we were so thankful the weather was so nice this year.  We obviously don't have a neighborhood yet, were invited to a few by friends and family but ultimately decided to stay around here and go to the hood behind our apartment.  The girls got so many full size candy bars, I dont remember that ever happening to me when I was little?!!!  My mom and Ryan were pleasantly surprised when one of the houses had an "adult trick or treat" station with different types of wine to choose from... :)

Earlier that day I had Whitney's Halloween party at school.  The kids got to dress in costumes and parade around the school before we started and then they enjoyed a yummy snacks (worms and dirt) and some fun games/crafts!

It was a great Halloween for our Strawberry Kiss Shopkin and Tinkerbell :)
