Spring Break
Spring break this year has been awesome! We've had great weather and have been able to do some really fun things! It has really been so nice having Whitney home so much, Meredith and I miss her a lot when she is gone all day at school. Im sure we will have some Whitney withdrawal next week.
On Monday we went to the park of Whitney's choice (home of the brave) and to target to spend some of their Easter bunny money. It was such a beautiful day that they ended up playing outside with friends all afternoon!
Tuesday brought some excitement because Whit finally got to see Meredith's gymnastics class. They both had a blast doing forward rolls and walking on the balance beams. After the class we met some friends at Summit park in Blue Ash, one of our favorites! The girls had a blast and its finally a park that Meredith can enjoy too because it really is designed for older kids. They were so tired after this but no rest for the weary because Whit's friend Sienna came over to play for the afternoon. All of this was followed by dinner at the silver spring house and an early bed time haha! We had some very tired girls!
Wednesday we went to the butterfly show with Mamaw. It was very crowded but still awesome to see all the pretty flowers and butterflies. Whit loved trying to get them to land on her paper but Meredith was not a fan. She wanted no part of it and said it also smelled too yucky for her...haha! We had a picnic at Eden park afterwards and again enjoyed the nice sunshine on our faces!
Thursday was another fun play date for Whit with her friend Tori. And then after nap I took the girls to see the movie Smurfs! Meredith did not like the movie at all. She wanted the lights turned on and "had to pee" four times during the show! Maybe if the movie was about Peppa Pig she would have liked it more!?
Friday we spent the day indoors due to our awful allergies. Whit and I were really struggling with all of the pollen. I pulled out all the stops for our last day though, home made playdoh, bouncy house and a quick adventure outside for some bubble fun!
As I said, we packed this week FULL of things that made us smile and it surely gave us a taste for summer! Bring it on!
