Update on life
Well goodness, time sure does fly. We have been in our new house for a month now and feel very settled! We've met some very nice neighbors and Whitney made a really good friend just down the street named Claire; she is 7.
Ryan and I love our new house and how much more room we have but it is pretty far out here. I was used to being to a grocery store, target/costco, kings island.....anything within 10-12 minutes. Our new house is just about 20 minutes to get anywhere. (kroger is within 10 minutes but not much else!) It even takes Ryan 3-4 minutes longer to get to work which seems crazy because we moved closer!!! HOWEVER, its awesome living close to my parents and we have not gotten to enjoy the closeness of Whitney's school which will make it all totally worth it!!!
The drive has been an adjustment, we miss our old neighbors/friends, and this HUGE yard we have has taken some time to get under control haha!! Ryan ended up buying a riding lawn mower and it still takes him an hour to cut the whole lawn! But we feel so happy to be here and blessed to have such a beautiful home!
This summer should be awesome!!! We cant wait to take advantage of the neighborhood pool and the Friday Fun nights the neighborhood participates in throughout the summer! We've already so many people and summer just started!
Whitney finished preschool and is so very excited for Kindergarten! She is loving piano lessons and has her first recital this weekend. She is such a social little girl. We have had so many play dates at our new house and see so many more in our future. Between the new friends she is making and the friends from our old hood, we have a steady stream of people visiting our sweet girl! Whit loves to pretend and play "cooking" outside.
Meredith is talking up a storm. She is putting three and four words together and can communicate all of her needs....for the most part haha! Following Whitney has become something she does quite often and has started playing hide and go seek! Mere really likes playing babies and barbies but most of the time needs mommy right there by her!
