Halloween Festivities

We only have about a month to wear our Halloween shirts, participate in Halloween activities and carve pumpkins before the season passes us by....so you better believe I take full advantage of it!

The girls have worn their costumes on several occasions, gone to two pumpkin farms, trick or treating at the farmers market and done various crafts around the house! I've even made orange pancakes!  We still have the rest of this week and weekend before it is officially over too :) It is such a fun time of year!

The Loveland Farmers Market had a kids trick or treat day.  We went even though even it was raining and got some yummy candy!  It wasn't as fun as in years past but I am assuming that was because of the rain....but still a chance to wear our costumes!

The next day Whitney had her school Halloween party and Parade!  It is so cute to see all the kids dressed up and singing their songs.  Mamaw, Papaw and Gammy were able to attend her special program and she felt so special.  We are lucky to have two retired grandmas!!!

We were also invited to attend a trick or treat lunch at Aunt Kelley's work.  The girls dressed up, ate pizza and yummy cupcakes and of course went around the floor collecting as much candy as they could!

On Friday night we decided to carve the last of our pumpkins and let Meredith in on the fun.  Whitney is NOT a fan of cleaning out the pumpkin but loves planning out her face and helping with the cutting.  Meredith however LOVED getting her hands messy and picking out the pumpkin seeds for mommy.  She was a mess and loved every second of it!
