Family Togetherness

There is nothing better then spending quality time with your family.  It was even more exciting this month because Caleb and Meg flew in from Colorado to spend time with all of us for Christmas.  

My parents had a Christmas party which started off all of the Christmas celebrations for us!!  We had a great time and of course loved seeing Caleb and Meg for the first time in a whole year!

That same weekend we had a pizza party with The Skeldons and went to the Neidermann Family Farm.  We have never been and it was really cool, definately something we will do again!!

On Monday Whitney got a super special treat! Uncle Cabub and Aunt Magan (yes their names are spelled wrong but that is how she says their names and we just cant forget that:)  They took Whitney to Build A Bear at the Kenwood Mall.  Whitney was so happy.  She has been in the store before but we have never built a bear so this was a treat.  It was so cute to see her interact with Caleb and Meg and see the excitement as she got to make her very own bear!!  Funny this is that out of all the outfits she could choose, she put on a t-shirt and underwear with shoes...hahaha!  Too funny!!  Definitely a day to remember!!

On the 23rd, we went to our favorite family tradition...the Awaited show at Crossroads Community Church.  Whitney has been for the past two years and LOVES it.  She was very excited because she even remembered some of the show from last time.  Her favorite part was the snow showers at the end.  And we usually sit up on the first balcony  but this year we were on the main floor a few rows back from the stage and she was very taken aback by the animals and characters in the play.  Even had to close her eyes a few times because they got too close :)

It was certainly a fun week leading up to Christmas!!
