Whitney's new things
***Disclaimer*** I am a bragging mother in this post -- I am not maintaining a baby book and realized that I better get this info about whits development down or I will forget it!!! So bare with me!
Recently Whitney has been repeating after us and talking up a storm. One of her newest things is waving at everyone and everything that is in sight. She sits at our window and watches the kids at recess and waves for what seems like ever. She will also crane her neck to see birds in the sky and wave frantically at them. She also has learned that she can drop things and say "uh oh"....which always gets a laugh and of course someone nearby picking up the item she dropped. She did it all through the store this morning and got countless strangers to smile and pick up her toy she was dropping over and over:)
Whitney's new favorite sign is "me, me, me". She signs it when you ask, "who is the pretty girl?" or "who is the big girl?" She claps, waves, goes "pat pat" and prays.
Peek a boo is a game she loves to play with her cuddle blanket. She will put the blanket over herself, a toy or us and wait for someone to say, "where is____". She then proceeds to pull off the blanket, giggle, clap and of course repeat many times.
She is saying, bubble, uh oh, bye bye, baby, woof woof (or oof oof). She has also started rocking to music as well as hugging and kissing everything in sight. I am almost positive that she said peek a boo tonight...I wouldn't be surprised because we have read her "peek a boo" books about a million times a day in the past few weeks.
She LOVES looking in mirrors at herself or trying to find us sitting behind her. Whitney loves the sharing game. She grabs something, holds it out for you to try, and then asks for it back. It is TOO cute and honestly could last for hours on end.
And lastly Jenny said that she ALMOST crawled today!! She usually gets on all fours (when we put her there) and then just lays down. Today she actually moved both of her hands forward and then catapulted forward. Im thinking she is going to start moving on the beach with my family...which is good because there are lots of extra people to chase after her!!!

Playing with her bike/car that her cousin Bryce let her borrow. She loves it and has to be tricked in order to get her off of it without a fit!!

this is an old one but it is honestly how she looks at herself in mirrors. Crack me up!
