Easter 2011

 

Whitney's first Easter was a success, so much so that tonight she went to sleep faster than she ever has before!  We started the day at Grandma and Grandpa Sims with a delicious brunch!  Whitney was a bit overwhelmed by all of the attention but still managed to cheese it up for a few pictures.  Aunt Kelley used all of her tricks to get some smiles and coos in between the crying and yawning.  She received her first Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa that she will soon love to carry around the house.  Uncle Caleb and Aunt Meg brought a large fluffy bunny that will become Whitney's resting place during the day, as well as a cute bear that sings the alphabet in English as well as Spanish!  After a sad attempt at a nap, it was off to the Skeldon's for Easter dinner. Whitney had fun with her cousin Bryce, got a musical piggy to hang from her car seat, as well as some books to add to her ever growing collection.  Towards the end of the night Grandma Skeldon took her outside to look at the beautiful flowers, which helped calm her down for a few moments!!  All in all it was a wonderful family filled day!
