This weeks word is HI :)  She says it on her phone, to the TV, to our cat, her dolls as well as strangers we see out and about, it is adorable.  Whit also loves to make animals noises now.  Her favorites are: cow, dog, cat, monkey, donkey, frog and sheep.  It amazes us how fast she learns them!!  Grandma was even shocked today at lunch when Whitney said the word "more" as she signed it for more yogurt!

She also loves "cuddling" pillows and dolls.  It came about one afternoon when mommy and daddy were tired  and Whit was hanging with us on the couch.  We laid her on a pillow and she giggled so hard and thought it was hysterical to get back up into a sitting position.  Our couch is leather and she really slides around on it so she thinks its pretty fun.  Every time she sees a pillow now it is a race to jump on it and cuddle:)  Whitney is getting stronger and stronger when standing too.  She stands for long periods of time at her kitchen and the fireplace just talking to herself and feeding her babies.  We have even caught her taking her hands off the kitchen and standing alone for a few seconds!!!

Her one year check up was sad due to the four shots but she is a healthy growing little girl.  She weighs 20 lbs 15 ounces and is 30 inches long.  We started her on whole milk today and she didn't seem to notice a difference.  She has also started eating a lot more finger food, well I should say that we are giving her a lot more fingers foods and she mostly chooses to smash them or throw them on the ground:) haha!  She really only likes to eat pureed food or carbs!!  She will eat any bread you put in front her but try a fruit, vegetable anything else...noooo way!!  Hopefully this is just a phase!!

Today was a bittersweet day for all of us as we said our "see you later's" to Aunt Meg and Uncle Caleb.  They take off at 3:30 AM for Denver to start a new chapter of their lives.  While we will miss them dearly, we know that they are going to have an amazing time out there and that face time will be our best friends:)

Good luck Caleb and Meg :)  We will all be praying for safe travels and also that you aren't too squished in the UHAUL with two large doggies riding shotgun!!!
