South Haven, Michigan
We love Michigan and had such an amazing time on our family trip to South Haven this year. The 4.5 hour drive was easy with older kiddos and totally worth it for the memories we made this year!
An old high school in downtown South Haven was renovated into lofts recently and we decided to check it out. It was such a cute place with pieces of the high school here and there for memory sake. They had old school desks as the sinks in the bathrooms and lockers turned on their side used as planters throughout the building. The lofts were very nice and spacious and had an indoor pool and movie theater.
We had some great food this time around and even met up with some friends that were staying nearby. The girls loved being on floats in the water, swimming in the pool and checking out downtown. I would say the highlight of the trip was the dune ride we took on a rainy morning. It was so much fun and had such amazing views!!
Spending five uninterrupted days with the family is a blessing and we really did have such a great time. Meredith even cried as we were pulling away because she didn't want to leave.....
