Happy New Year

Ryan and I have enjoyed this time with Whitney more than we could ever imagine.  Yes, it is tiring and nothing like a "break" from work but we wouldn't trade it for the world.  We laughed so much and enjoyed watching her grow before our very eyes!  Her little personality is coming out and let me just say she is a ham and a half..haha we get such a kick out of her!!

Believe it or not our little girl is CRAWLING!!  She started crawling on Wednesday, December 27!!  It only took her 11 months and 3 weeks....!!!!!  I told Ryan to hurry and look but he didn't believe because I always say that and she never goes anywhere!!!  But this time...whew she took off.  She has been all over the place ever since then too.  What amazes me the most is how steady she has gotten on her feet.  She can pull herself up, walk the length of the couch and not fall.  It seems like just last week she was so wobbly and couldn't pull herself up without assistance.  I think we will give Uncle Caleb and Aunt Meg credit for that because their leap frog Christmas gift was key in helping her stand:)

She has also learned to love being around other people.  On New Years Day, Ryan and I got to eat in another room while Whitney played with her cousins, Gammy, and Aunt Elaine.  This may seem silly to say but just a few weeks ago that would not have been possible.  She had to be by one of our sides at all times, and we love being with her dont get me wrong, but are thankful for that stage to pass.  It is great to see her interacting with others.  JJ and Bryce, her older cousins, are so sweet with her and have been really great at sharing.

We are so sad to see this break come to an end but the memories and times we had together will make those days back at work so much easier:)
