Wedding Time

Whitney heard about weddings all summer as Ryan and I have traveled to three of them.  She is so curious and was very excited that she was going to be able to see what it was like first hand.

My cousin Nichole got married on September 14th in Indiana.  It was the most unique wedding I have ever been to; Nicole and James (and their families) spent so much time and effort into making this day perfect...

You walk up to his parents house and see this corn field that they plowed an aisleway down, and at the end of the aisle were hay bales for people to sit on during the ceremony.  Waiting for you at the beginning of the aisle were mason jars to be filled with tea or lemonade and country music playing over the loud speaker.

The reception was in a barn with home made touches all around.  It was just a wonderful wedding and not to mention a beautiful day to celebrate the two!

Whitney, never being at a wedding before, arrived at the farm and immediately said, "Where is the cake and why aren't we dancing now??" :)

As soon as we got to the reception she took off to the dance floor and we could barely bring her back to eat dinner and cake.  She danced with other little kids she didn't know and wore Mamaw, Aunt Kelley and Papaw out!!!

It was tricky trying to get her to leave and she cried on the way home for us to "take her back to the party now!!!!"  She still talks about Nichole and James and wonders when we can go back:)

Anyone else getting married soon that wants to invite my lil girl so she can dance???
