Fun Filled Week
The day after we got back from our long weekend we went to a reds game with Aunt Kelley. We were all so tired from traveling, being up late and not being in our own beds but it was well worth it! Ryan had his work seats, which are really nice with a close parking pass included....so how could we pass it up right?? :)
It was actually chilly, we all had our coats on by the end of the night but honestly we weren't complaining!!! I love the pictures of Whitney and Ryan at the Reds game, she really gets into and I can see them in the future watching games together like this....warms my heart!
When it warmed up a little later in the week, Whitney and I ventured down to the local farmers market. Unfortunately I didn't know we were going and had just bought a bunch of fresh fruit/veggies the day before but it was still fun to walk around downtown Loveland and enjoy some ice cream!
She is MRS. Personality these days and makes Ryan and I laugh constantly! This is how she HAS to brush her teeth in the morning...and you know how it goes...choose your battles :)
On a colder, rainy morning we made cookies and banana bread together. It was fun to have her help but just like I did with my mom when I was little, she helped make the mess but never cleaned it up. Oh well thats how it goes when you are little I guess!
On Friday, Whitney and I had to celebrate National Donut Day since it is her favorite breakfast food. It was a really nice morning so we took advantage of it and ate our treat at the park. It brought back such great memories of when we were growing up. My parents used to take us to Harbon Park, where we would eat our donuts and then all play together. Made me smile just thinking of those fun times and happy that I could share it with Whitney....all we needed was Ryan:)
Whitney has become interested in letters, even more so then before, and took notice to the letters imprinted in the gutters all along our street. All of last week was spent walking in circles around our cul de sac, pointing out and tracing the letters. Thank goodness it was shaded because I would have been burnt from the amount of time we spent out there. Its safe to say she knows the letters, E, X, W, and S by heart haha!
And last weekend we went as family to The Works in downtown Loveland to enjoy dinner outside. It was such a beautiful day and fun to walk around together!
