Still no crawling

Whitney isn't interested in crawling one bit.  You put her on her knees and she flattens out faster then you can blink your eyes.  She does however roll and roll around the house like it is her job.  When she hits a wall, chair, the fireplace, it doesn't bother her because she keeps rolling (in place) .... haha.  Perhaps Whit will just skip the crawling stage and move right onto walking.  Or it could be that she starts talking and just says, "mommy move me over there..." :)

This weekend we went to Jamison's first birthday party.  Whitney and Jamison go way back;)  It was fun seeing him open his gifts and try cake for the very first time, Whit's day will be here before we know it!!  She got tired at the end of the day and would only laugh/smile and not cry when she could pull Ryan's hair.  This is a new found hobby for her and it is apparently soothing!  Poor daddy is going to be going bald one strand of hair at a time!! (p.s. this is Ryan's fault she likes to do it because her encourages it.....tsk tsk tsk)

Jamison was nice enough to share his toys!

Whitney is feeling better now that we have that cold behind us, whew!!  It broke my  heart to see her struggling like that.  It is true that you are in pain when your child is in pain! Since she was feeling better we took a nice walk this weekend and she loved every second of it.  I think people in the next neighborhood could hear her talking/singing!!

I've mentioned it before but we have the BEST babysitter.  Not only is she my friend but she is just absolutely wonderful with Whitney.  Its a win win situation because I get girl talk when I drop off and pick up Whitney and I can go to work knowing she is in loving hands.  Whitney even reaches out for her when we get there.  Amazing how she adjusted so well:)  Below are two pictures from this week....
She is having fun at Jenny's reading books and finger painting.  YES, finger painting...Jenny is brave:)

Whitney loves lift the flap books, she goes for a book at our house like that too!

You better believe that is going right on our fridge!!
