Social Butterflies

Between the play dates with friends and birthday parties we have been to recently, we have had our share of social interaction!  I feel like we were stuck inside for so long throughout the nasty winter that its like everyone is coming out of the wood work to play and get out of the house!

We went with our friend Jenny and her two little ones to a really cool place called Skyzone.  It is literally wall to wall trampolines but the best part is they have toddler time which allows the little ones to jump with kids their own size and not have to worry about getting hurt!  It was such a great time and a wonderful way to wear out your child hahaha!!

Whit and I got a special treat one Saturday morning and got to go and meet Evan Weddle.  He is Ryan's baby brother and oh so tiny!!  Whitney brought presents and donuts for her friends and loved playing while the adults visited!

We spent some quality time with Granny and Gramps after his carpal tunnel surgery.  Whitney was able to see his stuffed pheasant and was so nervous about it....she eventually warmed up and tentatively touched its feathers.  When we were little Grandpa used to let us pet it and then when we weren't looking he would make it jump and scare us SO bad.  I felt badly doing that to Whit because she was already so scared so I spared this time hahha!!

Whitney loved going to Emma's color guard performance!  We haven't seen the big Bishop girls in a long time so she was extra excited to spend time with them!  Even though it has been awhile since we have seen them, they still love each other like sisters..... what a special bond!

And lastly we spent a little time with Mamaw and Papaw before Whitney spent the night at their house.  Meredith is really warming up to other people besides our immediate family and just took to roaming around their house.  I think she really enjoys her new freedom:).  Whitney loved spending the night with them.....as always.  But this time she was extra excited because they were watching her favorite movie, Big Hero 6.  Even though she came home with quite the bump on her head from colliding with a coffee table, she had the best time ever!!  Love their special time together.  (and funny how we always used to come home from Granny and Gramps house with bumps and bruises....guess the tradition continues!!)
