Fitting it all in
At 35.5 weeks pregnant, I am feeling the pressure to do as much as we can before little Keeba arrives!
The past month or two it has been easier with cooler temperatures and a smaller belly but its becoming increasingly harder to accomplish our summer "to do list" with this heat wave. Not a surprise to anyone who has been pregnant in the summer but I literally cannot cool down. Whit is forever getting me ice packs so I can attempt to make my feet feel chilly! I was a hot mess when I was pregnant with Whitney and she was born in January so I could only imagine what it would be like this time around with a due date in July.....Now that it is here I realize this is for the birds! Whew, its not easy!
I'm actually doing quite well considering that at this point with Whitney I wasn't working and was on partial bed rest. Currently my blood pressure is normal, the swelling comes and goes and aside from the aches and pains associated with being 9 months pregnant......I cannot complain:)
We've been to Kings Island a lot, the pool, taken many picnic lunches to the park and tried to meet a lot of friends for fun play dates. So far we have been busy almost every day!!
I haven't felt too sad about taking away Whitney's only child status until recently. It will creep up on me and I will all of the sudden think, oh man I need to make sure I cram as much as I can into this last month so that I can feel like we had a fun summer. Silly I know because I am not "going" anywhere, but once the baby comes it will be different and I have to admit I am sad that things won't be "normal" for awhile. (Coming from someone who is terrified of change huh? haha!!)
I know that it will all work out and we are all very excited for Keebas arrival!!!
Now if we could only get the weather to cooperate so that I can be outside a little more!!!
