Staying cool
What do you do when your mom is allergic to the sun?
Wellllllllll you buy your own pool for the shade, play outside in the early morning hours, and hope your friends will meet you at the park before the sun starts blazing!!
There are many many things worse than having troubles with the sun, please do not get me wrong because I am thankful that is all I have to deal with....its just that the large circle in the sky is hard to avoid seeing as how I get burnt/itchy when it touches me through the tinted windows in my car. (I can hear you laughing now Kelley..shhhh)
This too shall pass right??? :)
Whit enjoying her pool, I had to get hot water from inside just so she would sit down in the water :)
And after a few minutes she decided she liked playing with the water while sitting outside of the pool better.
Here she is (above and below) finding feathers on our deck and throwing them in the grass. For some reason she has this thing with feather and there can not be one within 10 feet of her or she is not a happy camper.
We also learn to watch the reds game on tv since mommy cannot go to the actual games... Here she is laying with daddy while watching the reds win!
We come up with exciting things to do in the shade before it gets hot -- like painting with sidewalk chalk paint.
Whit and Will seem to be on similar schedules so Betsy was able to meet us at 8:30 a.m. at Pine Hill park. I was able to escape with only minor itching since we were not out too long in the heat:)
We walked over to the "big water" where tons of ducks came running towards us -- too bad we forgot the food because they seemed hungry!!!
Come here ducks!!!
Whitney tried to tickle Will's toes but he didn't seem to notice ... must have been those cute shoes he had on, she just had to touch them!
We found the babies!!!
Whit's favorite part, the water:)
Here she is helping Will walk to the fountains...so sweet.
