Babysitting Bailey

Image
I started babysitting Bailey last week and it has been so much fun.  Adrian only works three days a week (I shouldn't say only because they are very long 12 hour days) and I cover one of them usually.  The girls have been such great helpers and have loved trying to get her to laugh.  We look forward to watching her grow and having Bailey with us so frequently!

Cupcakes with Anna and Elsa

Uncle Caleb and Aunt Megan weren't able to join us for the birthday fun but gifted Meredith a cupcake date with Anna and Elsa!!  It was such a special afternoon of book reading, signing, cupcake decorating and dancing.  The girls even went through princess school to earn their crowns!  Meredith was the special guests.  They sang to her, gave her a second special cupcake and a gift filled with a fluffy olaf doll. Both girls felt very special and will remember that day forever :) Thanks Uncle Caleb and Aunt Megan!!!

Meredith is FOUR!

Hard to believe our baby girl is four!  She has grown up so much in the past year and loves playing outside with her new friends in the neighborhood! She loves her new Our Generation Dolls (American Girl knock off) and carries them everywhere with her.  Writing is something she loves to do.  She can write every letter, most numbers and even her name without a model!  We are still working on the letter sounds but she is catching on to everything rather quickly.  I try to get her to let me read her books but she refuses.  Meredith only likes to read books to someone not the other way around.  She also loves to pretend and comes up with quite crazy stories at times but will always come around and whisper that shes just kidding.   Biking, roller blading and scootering are all on her favorite list.  She is a speed demon with no worries in the world when it comes to falling or going to fast.  Roller coasters are also on the top o...

Vacation Bible School

Both girls participated in VBS this year and it was fun.  I decided to be a nice mom and volunteer to be a helper in Meredith's room....she wouldn't have gone without so why not?!? Whit loved her experience.  She had some great friends in her class but the thing she loved the most was the fact that she had some cool older girls leading her classroom.  She was sad to see the week end because she wouldn't see her favorite Savannah anymore :) Meredith had an okay time.  I say okay because at time she loved it but she honestly cried a lot.  Not sure why because I was in the same room with her but she was just nervous.  Preschool cannot come soon enough for this chicka :) They both LOVED the songs and still ask for their favorite #6 in the car every time!

Fourth of July

We had a lot of fun getting ready for the fourth this year.  Nails, shirts, crafts!!  The girls are at such a fun age this summer; its been doing experiencing so much with them!  We did our annual parade with the Skeldons and then lunch back at Jay and Elaine's house.  Whit decided to spend the night with her cousins so we came back home with Meredith and enjoyed a quiet evening with an early bed time haha:)  Love the fourth!
