Children's Museum

Whitney and I had our first experience at the Children's Museum with our friends Deena and Claire.  Not sure why we haven't been yet but it sure was fun.  There are so many fun things and at first I think Whitney was a little overwhelmed :)  We will definitely be going back! Her fingers were soo cold after playing in the water, but she loved it! Driving around! Ha I thought this was funny...her Aunt Kelley wanted to be a limo driver when she grew up, maybe Whit has her same affection for driving! Had to sit in the bow and sing "row row row your boat." Playing dolls with Claire Learning shapes This was right after a little boy screamed SO loud right next to Whit and she lost it.  She did not want to stay any longer so we put her in the stroller so she could regroup. Whit and Claire loved the sand pit but we did have to take five at the end so she could examine her feet for "toe jam" haha These n...

Little Miss Personality

We've been trying to keep busy during these long winter days which is sometimes a challenge, especially when she hasn't slept well the night before and it cranky!  Earlier in the winter we could at least get out and walk around the block but it has just been way too cold recently and we are sure missing outside play time!! It has helped a little that Whitney is starting to enjoy playing on her own.  She will allow me :) to cook dinner most nights as she plays with her guys and their houses/cars.  It is really great to see her imagination coming to life and then to hear what I must say all day long come out of her mouth haha! She loves to sing and cheer and is constantly asking to sing songs.  She currently loves the cheer from the movie Bring It On, (Brr, its cold in here.  There must be some torros in the atmosphere.....) Whit walks around the house yelling this cheer while stomping her feet and clapping her hands.  LOVE IT!  She also sings Zac Br...

But Why???

Whitney's new thing is to say, "but why?" after everything we say.  I mean literally everything haha!  She is so inquisitive which is great but you really have to dig deep sometimes to get the right answer for her. She also wants us to make her animals talk to each other about random things.  She will say, "make kitty and minnie talk about the couch, or the window.." basically whatever she sees around the room.  It is so fun for her hahaha:) She is also loving her tumbling class at the Blue Ash YMCA.  She will tell anyone who will listen that she goes to the Blue Ash Y to play:)  Its a great experience for her, some real aggressive kids are in there with her (all 2-3 years old) but she is really holding her own and not becoming afraid of them which is great!!! This is a picture of her class at the Blue Ash YMCA.  She is the little one in the purple shirt and black pants. There are moms sitting around their kids (probably half ...
