What do you do when your mom is allergic to the sun?   Wellllllllll you buy your own pool for the shade, play outside in the early morning hours, and hope your friends will meet you at the park before the sun starts blazing!!   There are many many things worse than having troubles with the sun, please do not get me wrong because I am thankful that is all I have to deal with....its just that the large circle in the sky is hard to avoid seeing as how I get burnt/itchy when it touches me through the tinted windows in my car. (I can hear you laughing now Kelley..shhhh) This too shall pass right??? :) Whit enjoying her pool, I had to get hot water from inside just so she would sit down in the water :) And after a few minutes she decided she liked playing with the water while sitting outside of the pool better. Im not sure which Whitney was more excited for, going to the zoo or being with Emma, Caroline and Jenny!!  She was a trooper and Im not sure she was even in the stroller expect for the walk back to the car.  She didnt want her mommy though, she was either sandwiched between the girls or holding Jenny's hands....You can tell she misses them so much:) She was so brave, touching a snake, getting close to an owl and even feeding birds that were flying free in the air!!!  She did not get that from her Daddy I will tell you that much!! Since that day she has mentioned the zoo many times and is very excited to go back. Whit didnt want to leave this owl that the lady was showing off, it was part of the zoo babies last year and is now so big.  She kept saying, "have it" but the lady never seemed to want to let her take it from her haha:) This was my personal favorite!  The elephants had just finished a show and came around the side to relax. ...

Not only am I a stay at home mom now but it is summer time and we can be outside all we want!  Whit is really loving it and I enjoy the fact that we have no schedule to adhere to :) Here is my little monster that just learned how to climb on the couch! Swinging -- her most favorite thing to do! With her two favorite friends looking at the ducks!  Wishing she could be up so high with them and Im sure she is saying, "have it" or "hold you" :) Emma is helping her shake the cage Taking a rest after our long walk this morning. Playing on the drums with Mamaw and Papaw!  Love it!  Should I try it?  How about Papaw helps?   Precious!! She found her shadow! Trying to bend down and pick it up:)

We had a surprise brunch for Gammy and Papaw's 40th wedding anniversary!!  Whit loved to practice saying surprise but when the actual surprise happened wouldn't you know she didn't say anything haha:)  Whitney and I have never been to the Grand Finale but both left loving it!!  Very yummy and Whit ate a lot of food from the breakfast bar, which doesn't usually happen!! Whit and Mommy waiting for the surprise.  Jim and Elaine are never late but on this particular day they hit a long train in Glendale...so everytime the door opened we all held our breath and got nervous.  It was a long 15 minutes but very worth it in the end!
