Ryan and Casey plus 2

WE MADE IT!!!   It sure felt like a long year with sickness and many other issues but we did it and now its time to celebrate!! On Wednesday, Whit's class had a Dad field trip to the Cincinnati Zoo!  Rain threatened but never amounted to much and they got to see some animals in motion -- which I feel like rarely happens when I go.  The kids just loved having their dad's around...too cute! While Whit and Ryan had fun, Meredith and I got to go on a field trip of sorts.  A friend invited us to the Museum Center for a morning of playing! And Thursday was the last day of school.   Whit had field day and we helped clean out her classroom before the kids devoured a special treat!  She is so happy to be on summer break and Meredith and I have the same feelings about having her home with us!!  Can't wait to see what adventures we go on in the next few months!!!

We decided to do a canoe trip with my family on Memorial Day.  Meredith had never been before and it had been awhile for all of us actually so we were excited.  It was TOASTY and we were actually in Kayaks but had a great time!  We saw a lot of wild life, ate a lot of snacks and worked out our arms big time.....well Ryan and I did...not the girls, in fact Meredith even decided to take a little snooze haha!! Definitely have to do it again when it is a little cooler or there is some cloud cover:)

Whit picked up piano lessons again and she really loves her teacher.  She is such a kind lady and really has a knack for teaching young kids.  Whitney wrote her own song and played it at her recital last weekend.  We were all so proud of her and by we I mean OUR WHOLE FAMILY.  She is a very blessed little girl to have so many supporters in attendance!   She played two songs and executed them perfectly topped off with the cutest curtsy ever!!   

Meredith has been to Kings Island many times but this was her first time going ALONE!!  She got to pick the rides, always be in a seat with me and just really had a blast!  Its funny how the same place can be so much fun when you are in charge!  She is a super dare devil and LOVES roller coasters.  I have a feeling she will be my riding buddy in a few years!!

The girls were beyond excited to meet their newest cousin, Bailey Rose!  Adrian and Will welcomed her into this world on April 28th.  We got to meet her one week later and the girls did not want to leave.  They can't wait until we watch her while her mommy goes to work!  Love how sweet they are with her....especially Meredith since shes never really been around little ones!
