Ryan and Casey plus 2

Whitney has loved school so far and it is wonderful.  I have flashbacks to last year when it was misery and we both cried everyday!  Mrs. McCloud seems to have good control of her classroom and likes structure, which does Whitney good!  I'm thankful everyday that she comes out of the building with a smile on her face. Part of the wonderfulness about school is her buddy.  As some of you know last year was awful.....heartbreaking for Whit and this year is the complete opposite.  Ill rewind back to last winter when I was at my CRHP retreat and my table leader was an amazing lady named Shannon.  She just had this calm about her that made me feel happy.  I shared with her the problems with Whit's buddy and she was devastated too, as her daughter was in 7th grade and could really give the support Whitney needed.  She and I prayed about it and she also gave me some advice about how to handle it with her teacher.  Fast forward to this year and t...

Meredith and I are getting into our new groove without Whitney home with us, we sure do miss her!  Poor thing has been sick for a few weeks, just wont leave her alone really....we are both tired of the coughing! She is loving riding her scooter, cutting with scissors and reading her books.  Since we decided not to have her go to preschool this year I have really been upping the amount of time I work with her academics.  She really is a smart cookie when she wants to work with me.... :) She knows all of her letters and numbers to 10.  Does really well with counting one to one and is really getting the hang on rhyming....she had me worried there for a bit with the rhyming words! She also spent a lot of time recently at my Grandpas house because my mom and I were having a garage sale.  She LOVED being with the dogs and taking them for walks.  Those doggies have never had so much attention. Since last post, we have windows, doors, and also had my family added some prayers on the beams inside the house.  Its been slow slow slow recently.  Apparently there are four or five houses in the same stage and there is a back up, bad news is that we are the last house started in that group so....we wait.   We will finally get moving again today or tomorrow with plumbing and electrical and then have our 60 day meeting!  Ive been waiting for this meeting because it means we will set a date for our closing!!!  I need an end date, who knows why but it is going to help me see the light at the end of the tunnel in this small, did I say smalllllllll apartment! Its looking like our move-in time frame will be the third or fourth week of November.  We go to Florida on the 18th, hard to tell if we will be in the house or not.....lets hope we are!!
