Ryan and Casey plus 2

Spring break this year has been awesome!  We've had great weather and have been able to do some really fun things!  It has really been so nice having Whitney home so much, Meredith and I miss her a lot when she is gone all day at school.  Im sure we will have some Whitney withdrawal next week. On Monday we went to the park of Whitney's choice (home of the brave) and to target to spend some of their Easter bunny money.  It was such a beautiful day that they ended up playing outside with friends all afternoon! Tuesday brought some excitement because Whit finally got to see Meredith's gymnastics class.  They both had a blast doing forward rolls and walking on the balance beams.  After the class we met some friends at Summit park in Blue Ash, one of our favorites!  The girls had a blast and its finally a park that Meredith can enjoy too because it really is designed for older kids.  They were so tired after this but no rest for the weary because W...

We had some great weather for Easter weekend, the rain held off until about dinner time on Sunday and all three of our eggs hunts were dry!  The girls had a blast starting with waking up to fun baskets and hidden eggs around our house, church at St. C, the Skeldon clan brunch at our house and then to end the day we had dinner at Mamaw and Papaws house. They were spoiled and WAY tired by the end of the day! We also dyed eggs the weekend before and Meredith didnt want it to end.  She loved it and I secretly think she loved seeing her fingers change colors for the dye too. :)

Whitney and Meredith have really enjoyed being involved in tennis and gymnastics the past few weeks.  It is fun to see the girls excited about something and really try hard at it! Whit loves tennis and is actually really good!  She can volley and has a surprisingly good back hand.  Only a few more weeks of this introductory course but I imagine we will be continuing! Meredith loves gymnastics.  She likes doing the balance beam and the ladder climb but the thing she likes the most is following the bigger kids around and doing belly flops onto the big soft mats!  Not sure what got this started but it is funny to watch.   There has been talk that both girls want to try soccer in the fall, we shall see :))) 

Rain coats, short sleeves, winter coats...we've had them all this spring and sometimes even in the same week but that didn't stop us from having fun!!  Meredith and I even embraced the rain on occasion to just get out and breathe some fresh air. Meredith loves going out to eat, even though she doesn't often eat when we are there.  She asks everyday to go get a bagel or sit in chick fil a haha!  She is starting to like being away from home more and more and it is so much easier now that she is potty trained, I often feel weird just carrying a purse and nothing else into places with me. Whit is just as happy to stay home because she is gone all day but she does miss our weekly trips to target or to the pet store....Im sure we will have plenty of time for that this summer.
