Piano Recital

Image
We are so proud of our little piano player.  She was so brave and played wonderfully!  Whitney was the youngest child by far and was understandably nervous.  The worst part was waiting for her turn to play but she truly did a great job and looked like she wasn't scared at all!  I think her favorite part was the yummy cupcake she enjoyed after the recital.

Preschool Graduatoin!!!

I'm not sure where this year went, it seems like we started school a few months ago and now it is over!!  I have a kindergartner now!! Whitney sure came a long way from dreading school every single week to loving it and being a little social butterfly!  On the last day of school she came bounding out of her classroom and said, "IM A KINDERGARTNER NOW!!!!"   We had a great year in the star class and made some wonderful friends.  Her graduation was so cute.  She wore a special cap, sang songs and even got to come on stage to accept her diploma.  She announced that she wants to be a nurse when she grows up, but she is keeping her options open.  In the past month she has wanted to be: a nurse, plumber, paleontologist and a teacher.  haha!!  Now its onto a wonderful summer with my awesome almost two year old and kindergartner!

The next day everyone met at Jim and Elaine's house for a grill out and swim time.  This was my favorite day because everyone was in the same place for an extended period of time, which meant lots of visiting and playing for the kids.   The next day some of us met at Kings Island for some rides!!  It was a special day because Ryan took off of work to enjoy family t...
