Ryan and Casey plus 2

Whit got to go on a special date with Uncle Caleb and Aunt Megan while they were in town this past week.  She went to lunch at Tom and Chee, to the Newport Aquarium and Starbucks!!  She had an awesome time and is now terrified of alligators thanks to Caleb....... hahahha!

The Lakeview Christmas Program is always such a fun experience.  We had a pew full of family to witness the cute songs and of course Whitney being a reindeer for the program this year!  Santa came to visit the kids at the end and Meredith waited with the kids so patiently!  However once we got up to him, Meredith was not too happy.  Whit loved him and told him she wanted a violin without the handle with Elsa and Anna on it... lol  so specific!

As soon as we get back from Florida, it is Christmas music and decorating time!  Meredith took more ornaments then we could count but it was fun putting the tree up together and surprising daddy when he came home!  This year we went to get our nails done and Whitney joined us for her first manicure.  She chose Christmas colors which of course goes along with getting in the spirit of the holidays! The Skeldon Cousin PJ party is also a key to kicking off the Christmas Season!  Such a fun night hosted by Uncle Jay and Aunt Elaine, full of pajamas, pizzas and sweet treats while watching a movie! Mere also learned how to say Ho Ho and says it everytime she sees santa!  

So after our horrible week with surgery and sickness we were off in our van to start our vacation.  Someone had the bright idea to drive through the night and although it seemed like it would work, it was really terrible planning because Ryan and I were seriously sleep deprived from the previous week and were in no condition to make the trek overnight.  Thankfully the girls were wonderful and we made it there safely but we vowed to never do that again haha!! We had a few minor hiccups throughout the week in Florida (Ryan getting food poisoning and Whitney having skin troubles) but it honestly was the best trip to Siesta Key yet.  It was so awesome having my whole family, plus the Muscats in such close proximity.  We were talking about the fact that we haven't seen Caleb and Megan for more than a few hours at a time for years; so it was great having everyday for a whole week with them!  Meredith LOVED the beach and pool!  Whitney of course loved pla...
