Update on the girls

Image
Meredith is 15 months!!! Little Meredith isn't so little anymore.  She is such a big girl.  No more bottles, shes finally sleeping all night, using a fork, running all over the place and starting to talk!  Her personality is coming out so much too.  She's goofy, loves to laugh and does everything her big sister does.  Meredith also LOVES to eat.  She honestly would eat all day if you would let her.  Her favorites are: pizza, peanut butter and jelly, peas, green beans, pears,  girlled cheese, CHEESE, yogurt and of course bananas! She enjoys  being outside in her little house, playing peek-a-boo, riding in her wagon or car and swinging.  What she mostly does though is empty the garage out.  haha.  She will go in and take out every toy that is in there and sit on each of them.  She is perfectly content to go from each toy and not even interact with anyone. She has some words, most of the words you have to be around her ...

Living the life

Image
Well its a busy life but we love it.  These girls are just so awesome and spending every day with them makes me so happy.  We giggle all the time and just have a blast!  Each girl took a turn being sick this past month (whit with a high fever that last one day and Mere with a lower grade fever that lasted several days) but have otherwise been outside enjoying this amazing weather! We've gone to the pumpkin patch, to story time, to the park for play dates, had neighborhood grill outs and bonfires, block parties, and of course spent time raking and playing with Mamaw and Papaw. Meredith is starting to lose her morning nap so we have been able to do some more things that we normally wouldn't have been able to do.  Its been a fun fall so far and its only just beginning!!!

Celebrating Mike

Image
Most of you probably heard but my sister's boyfriend, Mike Droessler, was on the television show The West Texas Investors Club to showcase his product, the Invisible Undershirt.  We are all so proud of him and all of the hard work he put into making it happen that we just had to celebrate him!  Whitney helped me make these special cupcakes with his face on it, we got his favorite beer, and filled his belly with yummy food.  I think Whitney's favorite part, aside from the cupcakes, was playing football outside with everyone.  It wasn't a cool day so they were all a sweaty mess but enjoyed playing around and being silly so much!  Congrats again Mike, we are so proud of you!

Blooms and Berries Field Trip

Image
I got to go along with Whitney again this year to her field trip at the pumpkin farm!  It is such a special time and I am thankful I am able to be a part of it.  The weather was perfect for it and it wasn't even muddy --- yay!  Blooms and Berries has some awesome play areas for kids, hay ride and then of course you can't end the day without a snack:)  Whit had fun playing with her friend Julia and spent lots of time in the pile of corn!
