South Haven, Michigan

Oh vacation, how I have missed you.  Lazy days, no responsibilities, unlimited family time and yummy food…what more could you ask for?!!  Although we had to improvise at times, split up the troops on occasion, and put on our patient caps in almost every place where Meredith was not able to move freely, we wouldn’t have changed this week for anything.  The memories made and time we all got to spend together will be forever cherished.  Perhaps it was because the wifi was almost nonexistent and the television was from the early 1990….but we barely used technology and really just spent time playing games, laughing and being silly.  I hope to take this mentality home with us because it honestly was so freeing to leave all of that behind! Nothing brings more joy to my life then spending time with family.  We had two days full of family togetherness as Caleb and Megan made the trek down from Michigan.  Wish we could have weekends like these every week!

Aunt Elaine and JJ invited Whitney to join them for the All Saints VBS and boy was it an awesome week!  Whit had a blast, made some great friends, learned so much about God  and gained some major confidence in herself too! It was a week filled with God, games, crafts and fun songs that she still sings allllll day long!!  I am so glad she was able to experience this and look forward to next year when I can volunteer and help at the VBS St. Columban puts on!
