Ryan and Casey plus 2

Whitney has gone to most of the Xavier Basketball games with Ryan this year and they love it.  I think it is such a great bonding time for them and she has become quite the fan!!  Her fear of people in costumes prevented her from getting close to Muskie and the Blue Blob in the past, but not this year she got a picture with Muskie one game and had to hunt down the Blue Blob in order to get the same picture to hang on her wall. What a great tradition to share with the Skeldon family.  I cant wait until Meredith is old enough to enjoy the games as well!

Well we finally did it!  Meredith is sleeping in her crib.  It took six LONG months but she is in there.  For the longest time, mostly because she was waking up so much and it was easier to have her right next to me, she was in her rock and play sleeper.  I would try to put her in her crib for naps and she would lose it.  Hated every second of it.  But one day I had enough and braved the storm. She fussed and fought naps for one day  but then started feeling more comfortable with it.  She now sleeps on her belly and does so much better!  We aren't talking perfection here but at least she isn't waking up every hour.  We even had ONE NIGHT of full sleep.  I woke up and could not believe that she didn't wake up to eat or fuss for her paci.  She hasn't done it since unfortunately and last night was actually pretty awful but I am hopeful she will do it again soon.....she has to because Im losing my mind with this lack of sleep! ...

Between crazy schedules and sick kids we were not able to get together with Jenny and her clan for our Christmas celebration until the middle of January!!!  We of course got ice cream and let our kids run wild throughout the store (hahaha not really).  Emma and Caroline met Meredith for the first time that day too.  We have gotten together but it is always when the big girls are at school.  Whitney met Emma and Caroline for the first time when she was 6 months old too.  Love these sweet girls!!

Whitney went on her third date with Aunt Kelley and Mike the other weekend.  She cherishes this time and comes home crazier then ever!!!  This time they went bowling and to get ice cream.  Melts my heart how much she loves being with these two! Her first date with them was right after Meredith was born and she loved it so much she just kept asking when she could do it again.  The next date was Skyline, Run Jump and Play, and ice cream!  She is already talking about what she will do next :)  Hope you are ready for her Kel!
