Family Togetherness

There is nothing better then spending quality time with your family.  It was even more exciting this month because Caleb and Meg flew in from Colorado to spend time with all of us for Christmas.   My parents had a Christmas party which started off all of the Christmas celebrations for us!!  We had a great time and of course loved seeing Caleb and Meg for the first time in a whole year! That same weekend we had a pizza party with The Skeldons and went to the Neidermann Family Farm.  We have never been and it was really cool, definately something we will do again!! On Monday Whitney got a super special treat! Uncle Cabub and Aunt Magan (yes their names are spelled wrong but that is how she says their names and we just cant forget that:)  They took Whitney to Build A Bear at the Kenwood Mall.  Whitney was so happy.  She has been in the store before but we have never built a bear so this was a treat.  It was so cute to see her interact wi...

Christmas Preparations and Excitment

We got back from Florida and got right to work putting up our Christmas Decorations.  I tried to do it before we left for Thanksgiving but Ryan put his foot down....so Whit and I settled for the last weekend in November.   It was thrilling to see Whit enjoy it this year.  She really enjoyed looking at all the ornaments and helping decorate the house.   Such a big girl!   And of course we had to buy the cherry flavored candy canes because we cannot go near the ones that are peppermint! We had a great December leading up to Christmas, with many fun activities and memories made.  Seeing scuba santa with cousins, the only Santa Whitney said she would see because he would never be able to touch her.  (even though if you look you can see how terrified she is to be sitting that close to him inside the tank) Making cookies with friends, decorarting a felt tree, making a gingerbread house and many more:)

The week before we left for Florida, I took a pregnancy test and it was POSITIVE!! We are so very excited to be adding to our family!  Due date is July 20th.  Ive heard the babies heart beat two times already and its as strong as can be! Whitney is very excited and thinks it is a girl because Mommy doesn't have any boy clothes!!!  She has named the girl Keebashabashooo.  Seriously.  We have to pray for Keebashabashoo nightly and use her name correctly..hahah what a mouthful. I haven't been feeling very well which was to be expected right?  Florida was okay, I was not into food but not feeling super sick...yet.  Little did I know that I would be feeling ten times worse once we got home.  I remember being sick with Whitney but this is so much worse...espcially since I cant lay down when I want to!! haha! Ive lost 10 pounds this month alone and just really cannot eat anything other then Donatos pizza and fresh oranges.  ...

Florida

Going to Florida during Thanksgiving is a tradition in my family, we look forward to it all year long and this year was no exception.  I was actually a little more excited then the past couple of years for two reasons.  One being that I thought my sun issues were solved and I would be able to enjoy some sunshine (rather then hide under heavy clothing and umbrellas).  And two, being that Whitney is at an age where it would be really fun for her!!! It started off a little bumpy with our plane ride.  Poor Whitney was not a fan.  I thought I planned ahead and had snacks, fun games and things for her to suck on so that her ears wouldn't pop.  Boy was I wrong.  Before the plane even left the gate, she was crying and yelling, "how do I get off of here???"  She did not play with one item I prepared and cried for most of the flight because her ears hurt her.  We took many trips to the bathroom due to a nervous belly, all the while screaming down ...
