Muskie Madness

Image
We took Whit to one or two XU games last year but she was really just too small and her bed time was before the games even started!!! We are hoping this year she can make it through the games and enjoy them!  If Muskie Madness was any indication, she will LOVE being there.  She was captivated the entire time and kept saying, "more more more!" Her favorite part was the band and of course the blue blob! Daddy showing her how to cheerleaders do flips in the air...she particularly liked this because her friend Avery does these in our front yard on a daily basis. Smiling for the camera.. Mom...thats enough hahahaha They are so serious about the game!! She loved the fact that she got to wear her new monkey hat and also that she was able to see these "booshible" flowers! So sleep on the way home but a successful night!!!

Play time

Whitney's favorite thing to do after nap, is to eat a snack and then run outside to see if her friend Elizabeth is awake.  She usually isn't because she takes long naps and Whitney is a short napper but once they are together they have a blast:) Most of the time we end up at their house because Elizabeth had a little baby brother and its easier to stay close to home for that reason! They have matching chairs they sit in  They wait for each other when they take turns on the bikes Its Whitney's turn Whit is checking out an ant hill with another little neighborhood girl Elizabeth and Whitney have done so well taking turns in this car.  Elizabeth got it for her second birthday and Whitney cannot get enough of it.  They  have been practicing and are getting so good sharing!! Just had to put this one in there -- Whitney saw my friend Betsy put her feet up in a recliner chair and ever since then really...

Pumpkin Patch

Image
Miss Whitney was lucky enough to visit two pumpkin patches this year!  First we went to Blooms and Berries with The Bishop Family and as you can tell from the pictures, it was quite warm.  The second farm we went to was Iron's Fruit Farm with my family and it was a little chilly to say the least!!! She loved the hay rides the most but also has enjoyed playing with her pumpkins at home.   Blooms and Berries A little too big!?! She didn't follow the rule of picking a pumpkin you can carry alone haha:) The girls! Iron's Fruit Farm Being silly with Aunt Kel We are in trouble...Daddy has always wanted to adopt a grey hound and it looks like Whitney fell in love with them too!

October Fun

Whitney is getting so big!!  I look at her sometimes and wonder where my baby girl is!??!  She is talking in sentences now, telling us everything she wants, needs, sees...hahah  you name it, she says it. The other day we were singing and she apparently couldn't hear my voice, she stops singing, points to me and says, "I can't hear you!"  Wonder where she gets that from!?! :) Added this picture to show just how tall this little one is.  Growing like a weed I tell ya!   The above pictures are from Whitney at her favorite library class, Movers and Shakers.  Her friend Elizabeth came and danced together to Here we go round the Mulberry bush.  She had a blast.  Elizabeth lives a few houses away and is only a few months older then Whitney.  They are becoming quite great friends! Instead of using scary knives and getting super messy this year, we opted for painting our pumpkins.  S...
