Ryan and Casey plus 2

Whitney experienced several firsts in the past twenty four hours and I must say they were pretty exciting events! The first event being an amazing double rainbow.  This occurred only after we got drenched during a spur of the moment run to Skip's Bagel and Deli, where Whitney entrained the entire place with her loud shrill yells and contagious smiles!!  Putting away the food, drinks, baby, stroller and diaper bag is a huge task when rain is falling in buckets from the sky!  Wouldn't you know though that as soon as we drove away the sky parted and peaks of blue sky shone through.  Whitney and I started searching for the rainbow and as we pulled into the neighborhood we spotted it just over the neighbors house.  Although at first I could only think of the double rainbow guy featured on Tosh.o (if you haven't seen it you need to google double rainbow guy) I eventually got out my camera and snapped a photo because I am sure this doesn't happen very ofte...

  Whitney's first Easter was a success, so much so that tonight she went to sleep faster than she ever has before!  We started the day at Grandma and Grandpa Sims with a delicious brunch!  Whitney was a bit overwhelmed by all of the attention but still managed to cheese it up for a few pictures.  Aunt Kelley used all of her tricks to get some smiles and coos in between the crying and yawning.  She received her first Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa that she will soon love to carry around the house.  Uncle Caleb and Aunt Meg brought a large fluffy bunny that will become Whitney's resting place during the day, as well as a cute bear that sings the alphabet in English as well as Spanish!  After a sad attempt at a nap, it was off to the Skeldon's for Easter dinner. Whitney had fun with her cousin Bryce, got a musical piggy to hang from her car seat, as well as some books to add to her ever growing collection.  Towards the end of the night Grand...
